Hello and welcome to The Colonial Hitching Post. My name is Marilyn and I am the owner of this small business located in the north central part of Massachusetts. I have always been passionate about photography and I also love creating handmade items made with wood, paper, fabric and yarn.
New England is loaded with history ~ as well as items used in colonial times ~ so antiques and collectibles are in abundant supply in many of the surrounding towns. I try to search for items that fit in with historic Americana and make them available to you. Items will be added daily.
So now that I am retired, I consider myself fortunate to realize my dream.
